About Manhattan Bagel
Made the Right Way. Every Day. There's a reason our bagels taste different--they're made the traditional way. At Manhattan Bagel, we give each bagel a dip in a kettle of boiling water, then bake them fresh each morning. That's how we get our authentic shiny bagels with a crispy, golden crust on the outside and that soft, satisfying chew inside. No shortcuts. Just real, authentic bagels made the way they were always meant to be. We kettle-boil our bagels to lock in that shine and crunch, then bake them fresh daily for a chewy, golden bite. No shortcuts, just the classic NY method - done right, right here, every day.

Picked up bagels this morning and when we got home, I noticed that they were in an Einstein Bros bag, which I thought was odd. Manhattan bagel has been our go to bagel place since they opened many years ago in the Arboretum, and the bagels have always been great! These were noticeably different and not nearly as good! Then I looked up the owner of Manhattan bagels and it said, Panera brands which makes sense now as to why they tasted like a grocery store bagel. When did this happen? So sad and disappointing!

I cannot believe.I slept on this bagel shot the entire time that I've been living in ballantyne. These bagels are still delicious! It's absolutely giving new york! I got the All American... it's so perfect. We also got the nova lox , which was equally incredible. To top it all off, I came here because the service was horrible at another bagel shop. The service here top tier , I highly recommend

Food was good & affordable. Service was slow and rude, cashier had an attitude and acted bothered that he had messed up our order and had to get it fixed. Tables were messy & all had crumbs on them like they hadnβt been wiped all morning, and I saw a roach near one of the tables. Along with that the coffee bar was messy and short on coffee & creamers. Would maybe recommend to go for the delicious food if youβre willing to deal with bad customer service and possible health risks, but thatβs about it.

I got 2 bagels and they were both okay but both had nearly no cream cheese and one of them, which I requested to be lightly toasted, was burnt and hard/difficult to eat

If this is the same establishment I'm thinking of, then it's home of the most absolutely delicious thing I've ever eaten in my life, hands down. I'm giving 5 stars based on my past experience at the Manhattan Bagel that used to be in Fayetteville N.C. many years ago. My experiences & memories were so good that I'm willing to take the chance that this is the same buisness. So what made it so good you might ask? It was 1 single menu item. But 1st I'd order either a plain, or a blueberry, sugar crusted bagel, (which I didn't see on the current menu.) & then they'd add the golden nectar strait from Heaven, the thing that literally made my mouth water, my knees weak, made my taste buds instantly realize that they'd reached the pinnacle of decadent flavor, & the thing I've been looking for for almost 20 years now, ever since my local M.B. closed down. FRENCH VANILLA CREAM CHEESE. Adding that to one of those bagels, which were crusted with sugar to an absolutely ridiculous degree, caused a confectionery merger on a galactic scale, like two culinary galaxies colliding in your mouth. Seriously it was that good. But sadly once Manhattan Bagel was gone, so went french vanilla cream cheese, se
